Shoutout to people who see a rapid decline in their health every day! Shoutout to people who know it will kill them or drastically shorten their life expectancy, and to people whose life expectancy isn’t affected much but who are losing quality of life …

saltier-than-the-sea: friendly reminder that wheelchairs, canes, crutches, mobility scooters, walkers, etc. are not part of a dichotomy between being able to walk and unable to walk. there are a wide variety of reasons to use a mobility aid, all of which are valid. ultimately, mobility aids are about ease of mobility, level of comfort, safety, and freedom. not about walking/not walking.

this-is-life-actually: Aerie gives plus-size men the underwear campaign we’ve all been waiting for Aerie has just launched #AerieMAN. The new campaign, which coincides with the upcoming release of a mens line, is helping to further swing the body positivity movement to include men in the conversation. While the women’s body positive movement continues to gain steam, the need for male body positivity is often overlooked. More like this on @this-is-life-actually
