Flavorful and Juicy Turkey Burgers! (SO GOOD!) – BeautyBeyondBones

Oh my gosh, you guys — it has been QUITE A WEEK!! I can’t wait to share with you the details soon, but wowsers — I thought being pregnant was exciting…things are only just getting started!

SO – tonight I thought I’d share one of my all time favorite dinners that my husband and I enjoy on weekly basis: TURKEY BURGERS.

Now listen: most people, when they think of turkey burgers, think of dry, bland, hockey pucks that are a pathetic excuse for a real beef burger.

Well, NOT THESE BURGERS!

Introducing the best dang turkey burgers you’ve ever had! And honest to goodness, I actually prefer these to beef burgers!

They’re gluten free, keto, paleo and on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet!

Here’s What You Need: (Makes 4 Burgers)

1 lb ground turkey
1 egg, beaten
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp Mayonnaise (SCD use this brand)
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Burger toppings
Cheese slices (I love havarti)
Ketchup (SCD use this brand)
Mayo (SCD use this brand)
Dijon mustard
Tomato slices
Pickles (SCD use this brand)
Lettuce
Onions

Directions:

In a large bowl, mix together with gloved-hands. Form into 4 equal patties.

In a large nonstick skillet, add 2 Tbsp EVOO. Add your Cook over medium heat for 3.5 minutes per side, until the interior temperature reaches 165 degrees F.

Serve with ketchup (SCD use this brand), dijon, pickles (SCD use this brand), tomato slices and cheese in lettuce wraps! (Or, of course, a delicious brioche bun if you’re not SCD!)

Oh my gosh these are SO GOOD. Like, we’re talking — remarkably delicious!

They have so much flavor from the garlic and the dijon; and the egg and mayo makes them so moist! Truly, they are phenomenal.

And I really love eating them as little lettuce “boats.” I slice a burger into four strips, and then I make little lettuce boats out of romaine lettuce leaves, complete with pickles, mayo, mustard, tomato, ketchup and cheese! YUM!

So there you have it!!! I like to serve these burgers with either a salad, or roasted beet rounds….which also go great on your burger!!

If you make these burgers, let me know how you like them!
