May 6th is No Diet Day – a great opportunity to challenge diet culture! I’ve had so many conversations with folks who have yo-yo dieted for years. That got me wondering… Most people I work with are successful in other areas of their lives but continue to struggle with food. How common is this – and why does it happen?
Please take a moment to consider these questions:
How many years have you yo-yo dieted?
How many diets have you tried?
If you’re like me and many of the people I work with, it should be pretty obvious that diets don’t work long term!
Or have you been blaming yourself?
Why do we keep doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results?
Make every day No Diet Day
